Almost nothing makes us happier than doing right by the planet, which is why we were beyond excited to discover that there’s a special fabric out there made from things like discarded plastic, fishing nets and fabric scraps. Regenerated into superior quality Italian nylon, ECONYL® is not only extremely sustainable but wearer tests have also shown that it’s twice as resistant to chlorine, sun creams and oils over standard swim fabrications. Soft, strong and good for the planet – our latest swimwear is something to be extra excited about.
Let’s show you how this works.
Step 1
The regeneration process begins with collecting waste from landfill and oceans around the world. This waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover as much nylon as possible.
Step 2
The next part of this innovative process sees the regeneration and purification of this waste into its raw state, meaning ECONYL® regenerated nylon is just the same as virgin nylon.
Step 3
This regenerated nylon is then processed into textile yarn, ready to bring an eco-friendly face to the fabric industry.
Step 4
We then turn this textile into new swimwear to be enjoyed for years to come (with the potential to be recycled infinitely).
