Christmas Return Window Extended
Orders placed between the 1st of December and the 24th of December are eligible for a refund within 30 days from delivery date.
Please reach out to us at customercare@augustethelabel for a return request outside of our normal 14-day timeframes.
Please note, returns from different orders need to be returned separately.
14 Day Returns
We want you to be happy with your purchase. Auguste gladly accepts returns within 14 days from the date that your order was delivered under the following conditions.
- Item(s) must be returned in their original condition and packaging: unworn, unwashed and with all tags attached.
- Sale items marked as 'Final Sale' at the time of purchase cannot be returned for refund, exchange or store credit, unless deemed as faulty
- Swimwear can be returned if it is unworn and in its original condition with all tags and protection stickers attached. Underwear must be worn when trying on swimwear for hygiene reasons
- Due to the delicate nature of our products, we recommend you follow our care instructions to avoid any unnecessary damage to your item. Any damage to your item caused by a failure to follow these instructions will not deem your item as faulty.
Returns Process for Australian Customers:
To return an item, simply visit our Returns Portal. Once your return has been lodged.
- You will receive an email with instructions on how to send your item back to Auguste. It is very important that customer use the shipping label provided and have their shipping label scanned at an Australian Post office.
- AU customers will receive a return label from Australia Post
- If you are returning items for 2 separate orders, you will need to submit 2 separate return requests.
- A return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund or store credit unless you have selected Free Returns and Parcel protection at checkout when placing your order.
- Return to Sender parcels due to an incorrect address and/or non-delivery will incur a $10 fee from your refund.
- If you opt for a Store credit, your gift card will be emailed to you once your parcel is in transit.
- Byron Boutique purchases must be returned in store
- Online orders must be returned through our Online Returns Portal. We cannot accept online returns in our retail stores
Once we receive your return:
- If you are an AU customer, you will be able to track your return via the Aus Post label you received.

Upon receipt of the items, they will undergo a quality control assessment and once cleared, you will receive a refund.Refunds are processed within 7 business days of your return being received and are made in the form of the original payment or, if you wish, store credit
- For customers who initiate a return for a refund a return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
- If you opt for store credit, this credit will be sent to you via email once your parcel is in transit. Please note, store credit cannot be refunded at a later date.
- If you paid via card, funds take 5-7 business days to securely process.
- If you paid via AfterPay you will receive an email from AfterPay outlining your AfterPay account amendment.
- You will receive a courtesy email update from Auguste The Label as soon as your refund has been initiated.
Exchange Process
To exchange an item, simply visit our Returns Portal. Once your exchange has been lodged.
- Only AU customers are eligible for an exchange. You will receive confirmation of the exchange being lodged via email
- AU customers will receive a prepaid return label from Australia Post to return the item being exchanged. Once the label is scanned at Aus Post your new item will be shipped within 1-2 days
- If you choose Instant Exchange a hold of $1 will be placed on your credit card and the exchanged item will be shipped the next day. If we do not receive the item, you are returning within 30 days your card will be charged the full amount of the non-returned item
- Exchanges under $100 will incur a return shipping fee.
Returns Process for New Zealand and International Customers:
- To lodge a return, please reach out to us at customercare@augustethelabel.com and state the styles and sizes you wish to return. If eligible we will initiate a return request.
- International customers will need to organise shipping labels through their local carrier. We suggest using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. You are welcome to use standard post.
- Due to the limited availability of our pieces, we do not offer exchanges for Internation customers. If you would like a different size or item, we recommend purchasing the new item and following the returns process for the original item.
